Jason Ross

Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions

Jason Ross is Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions at Peakline Real Estate Funds, where he leads the firm’s acquisitions efforts for the QOZ and BTR Funds. In this role, Jason oversees sourcing, underwriting, transaction structuring, joint venture negotiations, financing coordination, and execution for new acquisition and development opportunities.

Across Peakline’s current platform and legacy Cresset Real Estate Partners QOZ funds, Jason has been closely involved in the sourcing, structuring, capitalization, and execution of multiple residential, mixed-use, and Build-to-Rent investments in high-growth markets across the United States. His experience across prior QOZ funds provides continuity between Peakline’s established Opportunity Zone track record and the firm’s next phase of tax-advantaged real estate investment activity.

Jason focuses on identifying high-quality investment opportunities, structuring durable partnerships, and advancing disciplined capital deployment across Peakline’s real estate strategies. To date, he has sourced, structured, and capitalized approximately $1.3 billion of acquisition and development investments, representing nearly $500 million of equity. Jason has also spoken at industry conferences and investor-focused forums on Qualified Opportunity Zone and Build-to-Rent investment strategies.

Prior to joining Peakline, Jason served as Director of Capital Markets at VennPoint Real Estate, where he focused on capital sourcing, lender and investor relationships, and opportunistic commercial real estate investments.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, with a focus in real estate and finance, from Syracuse University. He is involved in multiple professional and philanthropic organizations including the Urban Land Institute, Jewish United Fund, and Young Presidents’ Organization Next Generation.
